This article will guide you through the process of installing a Commercial SSL certificate<\/strong> (i.e., a paid SSL) using your Control Panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you need to install a Commercial SSL Certificate?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Before beginning the installation, make sure you have the following files from your SSL provider:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. CRT (Certificate)<\/strong> \u2013 The actual SSL certificate file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Private Key<\/strong> \u2013 A unique key that works with your certificate to enable encryption.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. CA Bundle (Certificate Authority Bundle)<\/strong> \u2013 A chain of certificates that ensures compatibility across all major web browsers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Step 1. Log in to your WPX account<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Begin by logging into your WPX account. You can do this by visiting the WPX login page<\/a>.\u200b<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 2. Go to Control Panel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Once logged in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Locate your hosting plan in the WPX client area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Click the Control Panel<\/strong> button next to the plan you wish to manage.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      If you have more than five hosting plans of the same type (WordPress, Agency or WooCommerce), not all may appear on the homepage. Use the WordPress Hosting<\/strong>, Agency Hosting<\/strong> or WooCommerce Hosting<\/strong> tab in the left-hand menu to find your service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Step 3. Install Commercial Certificate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Inside the Control Panel:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Go to the SSL Certificates<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Select the website you want to secure.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        1. Click on the Import Certificate<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Once all fields are filled, click Install<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Ensure you copy\/paste the certificate files exactly as provided<\/strong>, including headers and footers.

          Avoid adding extra spaces or blank lines, as this will cause installation errors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          A green confirmation message will appear in the top-right corner once the certificate is successfully installed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Step 4: (Optional) Configure HTTPS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          Fixing Mixed Content Issues<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          After installing your SSL certificate, your site may still load some resources over HTTP. This is called Mixed Content<\/strong> and can cause browser security warnings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          To resolve this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          1. Install and activate the Really Simple SSL<\/strong> plugin in WordPress.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          2. The plugin will automatically configure your site to load content securely over HTTPS.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
