Important:<\/strong> Deploying will fully<\/strong> replace <\/strong>your live site with the staging site. If your live site has dynamic content or recent changes that you want to keep, be sure to export them before<\/strong> clicking Deploy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you’ve finished working on your Staging site and are now ready to update your Live site, this guide will walk you through the process of deploying the staging to your Live site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1. Log in to your WPX account<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Begin by logging into your WPX account. You can do this by visiting the WPX login page<\/a>.\u200b<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2. Go to Control Panel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Once logged in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Locate your hosting plan in the WPX client area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click the Control Panel<\/strong> button next to the plan you wish to manage.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    If you have more than five hosting plans of the same type (WordPress, Agency, or WooCommerce), not all may appear on the homepage. Use the WordPress Hosting<\/strong>, Agency Hosting<\/strong>, <\/strong>or WooCommerce Hosting<\/strong> tab in the left-hand menu to find your service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 3. Deploy Staging to Live<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Please note that deploying the staging site to the live site will completely overwrite the content currently stored on the live site with the content from the staging site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Navigate to the Staging<\/strong> section <\/strong>in your WPX Control Panel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Locate <\/strong>the Staging site you want to deploy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Click the Deploy<\/strong> button next to it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Once you click the Deploy<\/strong> button, a new section will appear with an option to create a\u00a0backup before deployment\u00a0(checked by default).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      If you have a recent backup of your Live site, simply uncheck the box to skip this step and proceed by clicking the Deploy to Live<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Creating a backup before deployment adds an extra step to the process, so the deployment may take slightly longer to complete. Once the backup has been created, the deployment will continue automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      When the process starts, a pop-up will notify you that it’s in progress.
      You can safely close it and continue working in the panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Once the process is complete, a pop-up notification will appear in the upper-right corner of your panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The deployment process is now complete, and your live website has been successfully updated. To see the changes, you need to clear your browser cache<\/a><\/strong> or view the site in a different browser or Incognito mode.

      Keep in mind that your internet connection may also cache the site<\/strong>, so try checking it from another network (e.g., mobile data) or add \/?nocache<\/code> to the URL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
