Do you no longer use the maximum website slots\/disk storage that your hosting plan allows? Here’s a guide on how and when you can apply a downgrade to your plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1. Log in to your WPX account<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Begin by logging into your WPX account. You can do this by visiting the WPX login page<\/a>.\u200b<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2. Go to Control Panel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Once logged in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Locate your hosting plan in the WPX client area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click the Control Panel<\/strong> button next to the plan you wish to manage.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    If you have more than five hosting plans of the same type (WordPress, Agency or WooCommerce), not all may appear on the homepage. Use the WordPress Hosting<\/strong>, Agency Hosting<\/strong> or WooCommerce Hosting<\/strong> tab in the left-hand menu to find your service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 3. Request Downgrade<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    In the Control Panel:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Select Plan Details<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Then select the options <\/strong>button (three dots) next to the Upgrade <\/strong>button. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Select Downgrade from the dropdown menu. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      If your hosting plan is not eligible for downgrade, the Downgrade <\/strong>option from the dropdown menu will be inactive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Downgrade requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      1. A hosting downgrade will only be possible at the end of your current billing cycle. \u2013 7 days for monthly plans and 30 days for annual plans.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Removing your PayPal subscriptions<\/strong> is a great practice so you can avoid being billed for the higher price of your previous plan (if that happens, yes, we’ll refund the difference between the amount of those two plans).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. If you’d rather we take care of the whole process, we’ll go ahead and escalate the case to our billing department so they can monitor it (your plan has to be near its due date for that purpose). Please make sure your plan covers the following requirements after <\/strong>the downgrade:\n
