According to the regulations introduced by the Internet Corporation of Assigned Names & Numbers (ICANN) a new Transfer Policy<\/strong> is in effect for all registrars since the 1st of December 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please take note that we have updated our standard Terms and Conditions, which all contracts operate under, in order to comply with the newest requirements for the registration and management of Generic Top Level Domains (gTLDs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The domain registrars that we contracted with are Internet Domain Services BS Corp<\/strong> and ResellerClub<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ICANN has mandated that for all gTLDs (such as .xyz and .com), a \u201cmaterial change\u201d to the Ownership information for a domain will be required. This information will need to be approved by both the old owner<\/strong> and the new owner<\/strong> of the domain before the change is made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A 60-day registrar transfer lock must also be applied after any change, which is hoped will help to minimize instances of domain theft. As part of the policy, domain owners may appoint a \u201cDesignated Agent\u201d to approve the changes on their behalf; our policy updates are being made to allow \u201cInternet Domain Service BS Corp\u201d and “ResselerClub” to act as your \u201cDesignated Agent\u201d in all instances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our approach to implementing this policy is:
\u2013 To design the required processes in a way that meets policy terms and withstands an ICANN audit.
\u2013 To minimize the impact on our customers.
\u2013 To leverage policy options such as the \u201cDesignated Agent\u201d or transfer-lock opt-outs to streamline
the process and reduce registrant\/customer impact as much as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following additional term constitutes the change to our terms and conditions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You agree and authorize Internet Domain Service BS Corp, ResellerClub, and WPX Hosting to act as your \u201cDesignated Agent\u201d with respect to the Inter-Registrar Transfer Policy (IRTP) (https:\/\/www.icann.org\/resources\/pages\/registrars\/transfers-en<\/a>)<\/strong> for all gTLD domains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You agree that as your \u201cDesignated Agent\u201d we have the explicit authority to approve and accept each \u201cChange of Registrant\u201d (as per the IRTP) on your behalf, whether this change represents a change from your Registrant information or to your Registrant information, and will do so in all instances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You accept that authorizing us to act as your Designated Agent is a condition of registering or managing your domain with Internet Domain Service BS Corp and WPX Hosting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
