WPX offers a 30-day, no-risk money-back guarantee on all hosting plans. If you decide to cancel your hosting account within the first 30 days of signing up, you are eligible for a full refund. This period allows you a full month to experience our speed, support, and security.
To initiate a cancellation and refund request within the first 30 days, please submit a cancellation request via your Client Area. A refund cannot be issued without a formal cancellation request placed within the 30-day refund policy. All purchases must be over $5 USD (excluding VAT) to be eligible for a refund.
Before submitting your cancellation request, ensure that you have transferred your website(s) and downloaded any backups you may need. WPX cannot retrieve data after your account is closed.
If you’ve saved your credit card or set up a PayPal subscription, billing will be automatically charged/re-billed (either on a monthly or yearly basis). Please ensure your WPX hosting account is canceled within 30 days to avoid any automatic charges for renewal.
PayPal Subscriptions
If you subscribed through PayPal, please manually close your subscription through PayPal after canceling with WPX. WPX cannot control third-party subscriptions, and PayPal may continue to send payments if you don’t cancel directly through their platform. In this case, any payments made after hosting cancellation can still be refunded by WPX.
Automatic Card Payments
If you have saved a Credit Card with WPX for future automatic payments, and you decide to cancel your service, please delete this payment method through your account or contact us to remove it for you.
Hosting Renewals are not eligible for a refund
Annual payments
For instance, if you sign up on January 1st with an annual plan, you can receive a full refund for your payment within the first 30 days, up to January 31st. After this period, refunds will not be available.
Monthly payments
Only the first monthly payment is eligible for a full refund within the 30 days from the sign-up. Any subsequent payments after the 30-day period are non-refundable.
Certain services are not eligible for refunds, as they fall outside the 30-day money-back guarantee. These include:
All domain-related purchases, including domain registrations, renewals, and transfers*, are non-refundable.
Domain transfers* can be refunded if not completed. Contact support to check if that is possible for your domain transfer.
During active promotional campaigns, standard refund terms may be modified. Each promotion will outline specific refund terms, which may limit or void the 30-day refund policy.
Express Migration
If our Migration Team is unable to complete the migration of your website for some reason, you will receive a full refund.
Paid Migration with Domain Name Change
A domain name change migration fee may be refunded if WPX cannot complete the migration due to technical issues. Refunds will not be granted if the new domain provided for migration is incorrect, and the migration is complete. In such cases, a new migration request will be required.
Paid Site Optimization
If our Optimization Team is unable to optimize your website for some reason, you will receive a full refund.
If you choose to switch your billing cycle from annual to monthly or vice versa, this change can only be made at the end of the current billing period and is not eligible for a refund.
WPX reserves the right to refuse a refund - at our discretion - if you are consciously abusing our 30 days refund policy.
