There is no longer a renewal grace period for .DE, .NL, .BE, .EU domains. This means that domain owners must ensure their domains are renewed at least 3 days prior to the expiration date to avoid losing them.
If a .de domain is not renewed 3 days before the expiration date, it will be deleted from the registry by the end of the same month, typically between the 28th and 31st. Then the domain will be placed into a redemption period and a redemption fee has to be paid to be able to restore the domain.

.DE, .NL, .BE, .EU domains cannot be auto-renewed with WPX because automatic payments are processed on the expiry date of each domain. Make sure to pay the renewal invoices for .de domains manually at least 3 days before the expiry date.
