How can I check my domain transfer status and history?

In this article, we will cover how you can monitor the domain transfer process from your WPX control panel and what the possible issues are.

Transferring a domain to WPX is possible, as long as the domain itself is NOT a country code top-level domain (such as .uk, .co.uk, .it, .de, .com.au, etc) as we no longer support them on a registrar level.

We can host your websites with those specific TLDs, however, we won’t be able to manage your domain name here.

If you are not sure how to transfer your domain name to WPX, you can check our guide here.

Now that you’ve started your domain transfer process and you want to know where you are at, follow up on the steps in this article.

Step 1. Log in to your WPX account

Begin by logging into your WPX account. You can do this by visiting the WPX login page.

Step 2. Domain Settings

Within the Control Panel:

  1. Select Domains from the main side navigation.
  2. Click the Settings button

Step 3. Check the domain transfer status

The entire domain transferring process can be checked from within your WPX account.

After selecting the domain, you will see two information sections regarding your domain transfer – Status Message and Transfer History.

Status Message

The Status Message shows all of the information about the domain transfer, e.g., whether the transfer has started or not and any issues with the domain transfer (incorrect EPP code, for example).

Transfer history

The Transfer History shows the past transfer records for this domain.

If more than 7 days pass without any updates on the transfer, reach out to the WPX Support team on LiveChat.

Have more questions? Contact the WPX Support Team through the live chat widget in the bottom-right corner, and they’ll assist you promptly, typically within 30 seconds.
