No longer need a specific site? This short article will walk you through the steps to delete it from your Control Panel.
Step 1. Log in to your WPX account
You can log in to your WPX account here.
Step 2. Go to Control Panel
Once logged in:
- Locate your hosting plan in the WPX client area.
- Click the Control Panel button next to the plan you wish to manage.
If you have more than five hosting plans of the same type (WordPress or WooCommerce), not all may appear on the homepage. Use the WordPress Hosting or WooCommerce Hosting tab in the left-hand menu to find your service.
Step 3. Delete your website
To remove a site from your hosting plan, click Delete (1) next to the website you want to remove.
Please note:
The Main Domain cannot be deleted. You can only rename it, provided the new name isn’t already used by another site in your account. Learn more in our main domain change article.
Once you confirm the deletion, the system will process it automatically.
If you delete a website, only a WPX support team member can restore it, and only if a backup point is available. We recommend you contact support immediately if you need recovery.
