How can I verify my new domain name? (ICANN Verification Policies)

When you register a domain with WPX, you may receive an email from our domain registrar, InternetBS, asking to verify the Registrant’s email address. The same may happen when you transfer a domain name with an email address that is not present in the database of our domain registrar.

What should you look for in your email inbox?

The email will be sent from domainsupport@wpx.net, containing a link for verification. All you need to do is click on the link in the email. Always check your Spam folder if you have not seen this verification email.

You may search your email inbox for the subject E-mail address verification initiated.

What happens if you don’t receive the verification email?

In case you didn’t receive such an email within the next 48 hours of the registration/transfer, please contact the WPX support team to resend it.

Failure to verify your email address within 15 days from the date of the initial verification email will lead to the user account and domain names that use this address as registrant contact being suspended.

All of your domains that use the same email address will be put on hold if the Registrant’s email is not verified.

Also, you won’t be able to register new domains with that email address until the verification is complete.
