When you register a domain name with WPX and the process completes successfully, the domain status will appear as Active in your Domains page. The Active status confirms that your domain registration has been completed.
However, in some cases, the domain may display a Pending Registration status instead:

This means the registration was not completed successfully, and further action is needed.
My domain Status says “Pending Registration.”
If your domain shows a Pending Registration status, it means the registration was not successful due to an issue during the process.
Common Reasons for Domain Registration Failure
When registering a domain, you must provide accurate personal information, including:
- Your First and Last name;
- Your Organization (If you own a company);
- Your Email address;
- Your Phone number;
- Your Street;
- Your City;
- Your Country;
- Your Postal code.
If any of this information is entered incorrectly, especially the phone number, postal code, or email address, the registration may fail, and the domain will remain in Pending Registration status.
What Happens When Registration Fails?
If your domain registration fails, you will typically receive an email describing the reason for the failure. It’s important to act quickly until the domain is successfully registered, it remains available, and someone else may claim it.
