WPX Hosting Rebrand Video Announcement 2020. As of August 2020, when you visit WPX, you will notice a few changes on our site, this blog, and our Knowledgebase (the KB is a work in progress but we’re getting there!). Watch a video or continue reading this post to find out more.
Firstly, let’s be clear, absolutely nothing else at WPX is changing apart from our design look, logo, and main Web address – more on that in a moment.
Everything, and I mean everything, else is unchanged.
NO changes to our status as one of the last few INDEPENDENT hosts.
NO new owners.
NO price changes whatsoever.
NO changes to the great WPX Support Team, one of the most trusted in hosting.
And NO changes whatsoever to our high-speed hosting platform and free custom CDN.
Nothing.
So why did we change the look of WPX from this:

Well, the old look and logo have been with us since 2016 and we felt that it needed updating and simplifying.

When WPX was created back in 2013, it was with an independent vision to change the arrogant, broken old-school model of Web hosting.
That is still true today and we are one of very very few independent hosts left now, most have been swallowed up by giant corporations that have a terrible track record on customer service.
It also turns out that your own entrepreneurship with your website was probably also driven by a desire to change your life, maybe from a boring, meaningless job or a desire to spend more time traveling or with your family.

So, WPX now has a brand new design look and will operate from the simpler Web address of wpx.net instead of WPXHosting.com, but wpxhosting.com will ALWAYS redirect to wpx.net so don’t worry if you won’t remember it for a while.
