LiteSpeed Cache for WordPress (LSCWP) is a powerful all-in-one optimization plugin that provides server-level caching and a wide array of speed-enhancing features. It’s fully compatible with WPX servers and can be customized to boost your site’s loading times and optimize images effectively.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through installing and configuring the LiteSpeed Cache plugin using WPX’s recommended settings.
Step 1. Install LiteSpeed Cache
Before installing LiteSpeed Cache, make sure to deactivate and uninstall any other caching plugins to prevent conflicts or performance issues.
LiteSpeed Cache can be found in the WordPress repository.
To install LiteSpeed Cache:
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Go to Plugins > Add New.
- Search for LiteSpeed Cache.
- Click Install Now, then click Activate once the installation is complete.

Step 2. Log in to your WPX account
To download the WPX recommended settings for the LiteSpeed Cache plugin, log in to your WPX account. You can log in to your WPX account here.
Step 3. Download WPX pre-configured settings
Once logged in:
- Go to the Tools menu.
- Click on LS Cache.
- You’ll see two downloadable configuration files:
- WPX LSCache Recommended Settings – The standard configuration optimized for general use.
- WPX LSCache Recommended Settings With Minify – For websites that already use minified JavaScript and CSS files.

Step 4: Unzip the downloaded file
After downloading the settings file, unzip it using your system’s built-in archive tool or a program like WinRAR or 7-Zip.

Step 5: Import the settings into LiteSpeed Cache
Go back to your WordPress dashboard.
- Hover over LiteSpeed Cache in the left-hand menu.
- Then, select Toolbox.

In the LiteSpeed Cache Toolbox:
- Navigate to the Import/Export tab.
- Under the Import Settings section, click Choose File, select the unzipped
.jsonfile, and click Upload.

Once uploaded, you’ll see a confirmation message indicating the settings were successfully imported.

How to clear the cache?
To clear all cached files manually:
- Hover over the LSCache icon in the WordPress admin bar.
- Click Purge All from the dropdown menu.
